Down by the River

Forest on the Ponderoso by the Burrito River today.

Developed 6 squash hills, I planted Guatemalan Blue Squash and Fairytale Pumpkin separate hills, added a few bush beans on the same hills! Experiment.

Solentiname

Solentiname

The Solentiname Islands are a group of sparsely populated islands off the cost of Nicaragua, home to hundreds of species of birds.¬† the best time to go is in September and after because that’s when all the fish appear, and along with them , the migrating birds.¬† Solentiname is a truly unusual and wild tourist destination, and can be easily reached from San Carlos, up the Rio Frio from Los Chiles, Costa Rica, an hour and half from La Fortuna.

Five artisan families create brilliant balsa sculptures of birds and fish primarily, and there are also primitive artists  Look it up on the internet!
